13th (2017) CHENGDU-CHINA SUN RIVER PRIZE Students’ New Music Composition Competition, sponsored by Sichuan Conservatory of Music, had been successfully concluded on Oct.20th, 2017. The Organizing committee received 94 pieces from American, South Korea, France, Japan, Portugal, Belarus, Cuba, Bulgaria, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and areas around the world. Dr. Zhou Long, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, distinguished professor of music, university of Missouri-Kansas city, distinguished professor of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, served as the chairman of jury.
